The "Superfood Diet" incorporates low glycemic index foods, foods high in fiber and protein, plenty of good fats, oils high in omega 3 fatty acids, antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables, whole grains and legumes, and includes fish, meat and dairy products. Sugar, processed flour, potatoes, white rice and other high glycemic index foods are minimized.
